Alice-Miranda series, by Jacqueline Harvey

These books are basically “A Series of Unfortuante Events” on Prozac. They’re about this perfect, angelic, brilliant little girl who’s plopped into some lousy circumstances and manages to make everything better by being completely oblivious to the fact that everyone hates her and that everyone is miserable. They’re super tongue-in-cheek, and so improbably hilarious.
